Neil would be crushed knowing his mistake led to human deaths, but Albert shouldn’t factor that into the difficult choices he must make. Will Albert’s indecision put the entire vampire establishment in danger? Or is redemption only a flamethrower away?EXCERPT:
A good followup story to The Recruit.
The Choice is the second book in The Faction series and you really need to read book one, The Recruit, first to understand The Choice. You can find my review of The Recruit here.
In The Recruit, newly turned vampire, Neil, slipped up a bit when he unexpectedly ran into his former boyfriend, Cameron. That slip is now coming back to haunt The Faction. It’s also left Albert, Neil’s bloodmate and leader of The Faction, in a bit of a difficult position. For the first time Albert is questioning decisions he makes and that’s not good for The Faction.
Cameron and his new boyfriend, Dennis, are given a choice and that’s primarily what this book is about. I really can’t say too much without giving things away. If you enjoyed The Recruit I think you will really want to read The Choice.
According to the author’s website a third installment in this series is in the works. Neither The Recruit nor The Choice end on what I would call a cliffhanger. Eac
