When I emerged from the bathroom, back in my costume, I saw Adam hadn’t bothered putting his costume boots back on either. He was dressed in his Beastmaster costume, but he was still completely barefoot. So of course, my focus was drawn down to the floor like a magnet.

I couldn’t stop myself from blurting out, “God, you have such big feet!”

“Ugh, don’t remind me.” He groaned, trying to curl his toes under to make them look shorter. “They always called me Sasquatch back in college.”
