Sequel to Lethal Attachments

A new case comes barreling into the D&K agency when they least expect it which has Doyle and Kord exploring the steamy byways of leather and kink in Philly.

It’s election season for KinkLink, the largest regional leather and fetish organization in the Philadelphia area. But someone is trying to kill the candidates. Two have been hospitalized and others have been threatened. Is it the young faction working to eliminate the Old Guard, or is there some other dark conspiracy behind all the violence?

Doyle directs the investigation and assigns Kord an undercover role to attend events as a person looking to find his place in the kink and fetish world. Kord, at first reluctant, becomes eager for this assignment and begins his search with the pups and handlers group. Here he encounters one of the pups who is running for president, a tough, do-whatever-it-takes competitor. Kord finds himself learning not only about the pups but all about himself, as well.

For his part, Doyle investigates openly and hopes that between his work and Kord’s they will find out what’s going on and stop it. During Doyle’s investigation, he falls under the spell of the hot and seductive Mick O’Connor, another presidential candidate. While enchanted by O’Connor, Doyle learns a lot about his own desires and needs, too.

Suddenly another candidate is attacked and killed. Yet another is beaten. The investigation moves into high gear while fear grips the community. But will Doyle and Kord find the culprit before more candidates are murdered? Can they solve the case and keep their relationship intact?

“I’ll settle for the pups first. Sounds like fun. I like twinks in jockstraps. After that I can sniff around the uniform guys.”

“Before I forget,” Doyle said with another of those smiles. “I have something else to help make you a complete pup.”

“What’s that?”

Doyle dipped his hand into the bag and, tapping the sides of the brown sack with whatever the new item was, he slowly brought it up. “How about this, for the pup who needs everything?”

Kord winced when he saw it.

“No, no, no, no, no.” Kord used as firm a voice as he could muster. “I am not wearing a butt plug shaped like a tail. No way. Dobermans don’t have tails. Do they?”

“Might make a difference in being a realistic pup who they’d like to have in their group or just a dilettante butt sniffer.”

“Makes sense but let’s wait and see if I really need to go that far.” Kord eyed the butt plug tail with skepticism.

“I’ll just leave it with you. Maybe when you two get acquainted you’ll be more comfortable.”

“I doubt it,” Kord snapped and felt impatient for Doyle’s game to be over.

“Aw, c’mon.” Doyle patted Kord’s head like a treasured pet. Even that brief touch made Kord yearn for more and forget his impatience. “You know I’d never force you into anything.”

“There are some things that are a step too far.” Kord tried sounding good-tempered and not really annoyed.

Doyle rattled his hand in the paper bag again.

“More?” Kord couldn’t even imagine what might be next.

Doyle did a slow tease pulling out the next item. The tip of another plastic tail emerged and Kord steeled himself against whatever Doyle might have in store.

In an instant the new tail was followed by a belt-like attachment that allowed the tail to be worn without the need for a butt-plug.

“It’s a show tail. You get to have a tail without the pleasure of a butt-plug,” Doyle said and flicked the tail with his finger.

Kord took the new leather piece and pulled it around his waist.

“This is more like it,” Kord said. “And the colors fit with the other pieces.”

“Of course. I want you to be the best pup in the litter,” Doyle said. He was almost too gleeful and Kord wondered if this were some kind of perverse revenge.

“You think anyone will be in full pup dress at the Forbidden night parties?”

“I’m sure. That’s the whole point of the night. To celebrate fetishes and kinks. But you’re a newbie as far as they’re concerned and I don’t think they’ll expect you to dress.”

“I’ll take the hood and the jock and the harness. When I see what other people are doing, I’ll decide how deep in I want to get.” Kord had to admit to himself that the idea was growing more appealing by the minute. He wondered what it might be like being near naked in front of a group of strangers. He couldn’t wait until tomorrow and Forbidden.
