Behind the Cam

This book had me in an absolute chokehold. I started it in the evening and stayed up way to late trying to finish it because I become so invested in Kienan and Axel that I had such a difficult time putting the book down to go to bed. My heart broke constant for Kienan and his struggles and I wanted to wrap him up in a blanket and keep him safe. The chemistry between these two is way too obvious to be missed and the fact that there were able to resist each other for so long is miraculous. Axel’s daughter constantly trying to play matchmaker was adorable and the way she instantly picks up on how mazing these two would be for each other and how she tries to get them to acknowledge each other crushes on each other will have you giggling. She adds the much needed lightness to combat some of the darker topics that take place in this book.

E.M/ Schenker did a great job highlighting the stressful reality of having a toxic ex that is unwilling to let you go. Kienan’s ex is defiantly another fictional character that defiantly deserves what he has coming to him. Despite the speed bumps Kienan and Axel face they do get their well deserved HEA is makes to forgivable that this book had my eyes tearing up at 3 in the morning.
