This was such a great read! I'm quickly becoming a big-time Kris T Bethke fangirl; she writes excellent short stories with fabulous characters that always manage to put a smile on my face. Hero Worship is no exception. I loved both of the MCs, but I'm not ashamed to say I love Matt a little more than Alex, because Matt is just so great. Alex' best friend Carrie is also a fantastic character, and I really loved her and Alex relationship. But maybe what I love most about Kris T. Bethke is the effortless way she writes bisexuals. Alex is bi. He's got a specific type when it comes to guys, AND a specific type for girls. It's nothing weird, no one says bisexuals have to choose. She just writes it as a matter of fact. Like the sky is blue and the earth is round and bisexuals is a real thing. You know, the way you really really want it to be IRL, too. This book ended up on my feelgood re-read list and I recommend it with all my heart.
